One Year Down...

Congrats Chad, One year of PT school Down 2 more to go!! I am so PROUD of chad for all of his hard work this past year in PT school, he has worked so hard and it has payed off!! This semester he got a 3.9, overall for the year a 3.75 and his classes were not easy!!! He now has a much anticipated break from school for March, April, and May! Hopefully we will make some money to live off of for the year:)!!

Hello Again

4 months after my last post with many people nagging me to update my blog, I am finally getting around to it! I'll just get to the fun part and post some pictures of Jaxton!! By the way, he is the sweetest thing EVER!! He is supper easy going, so very cuddly, just so sweet. By the way he isn't even 6 weeks yet but he has already started sharing smiles with us, they just melt your heart!! Jonah has been great with him to. Gives him lots of kisses and loves and is a great helper!!

Happy Birthday Jonah!!!!

Jonah turned 2 last Saturday and it was so much fun to celebrate with him! He is getting so big and smart. He loved opening all of his presents but he would have been happy with just one, it took like 2 hours to open five presents. We got him a tractor and it had 12 screws in it that you had to undo to get the toy out! We had fun going to the zoo and riding the Carosel. We also saw the zoo via bike!


We went to play at McDonalds playland for lunch and had fun riding the new bike his Grandma and Grandpa got him!!


It was pretty funny, after I frosted Jonah's cake he kept pulling a chair over to the counter and singing the happy birthday song to himself and sticking his fingers in the frosting.
He loved blowing out the candles and kept asking to do it again!

Jonah has brought us so much happiness and Joy these past two years! We feel so blessed to have him, he keeps us on our toes and has us laughing at all the funny things he says and does! Happy Birthday Jonah Bug!!!

our latest adventures

We have had a busy and fun couple of weeks. We started off going to Lake Powell for a few days, a night hike where we saw a scorpion, did you know that if you have a black light then the scorpians will glow in the dark? we went up to Payson, Arizona. It was so beautiful, it reminded me of home. All the trees, creeks, and oh it was so cool I think the high was 89 degrees, it was so nice. we didnt even mind the extra 2 hours it took to get back to Phoenix when it was time to go. (We went over Labor Day). Then on Friday we went to the Natural History Museum and ate dinner at nearby park with friends. It was September 11 and they had an awesome memorial going on. It's a........

We went to our Dr.'s appointment yesterday and got to have an ultrasound of the baby. We really like Dr. Erickson, he seems really nice and they even told us that at 28-32 weeks they will do a free 3-d ultra sound, so we are excited! Most importantly it looks like it is healthy... and we are going to have another BOY!! We are so excited and can't wait till January 9, 2010 rolls around. We are totally stumped on Names though. The only name I really like is Connor but Chad says that it is too popular. Chad likes Adonus (yes like the greek god)! needless to say we have not come up with a name we both like. So we need help, if you have any ideas on boy names let us know, and if yours is picked then you will get a prize! (My Dad suggested the prize to be the umbilical cord after it falls off, but dont worry we will come up with something not so disgusting!) Thanks for your help!

Our Arizona Mountains

On Friday night we had a spectacular thunder Storm, the sky lite up with huge lightning bolts and we heard loud claps of thunder and the rain poured down for a good hour or so. I have really liked this part of summer(the monsoon season)! On Saturday we heard it was only supposed to be 95 and cloudy(instead of 110), we thought it was a good idea to go exploring. So these are our mountains that we get to enjoy... lots of rock and dust but there are some really neat Cacti...these things are seriously like 15 feet tall!! By the way we didn't last very long out there, although it was only 95 it also very humid and not so cloudy, needless to say we got really sweaty and gross!!

I Love Visitors

My sister Heather from San Diego came to visit for the weekend! we had so much fun! Jonah loved to have a visitor, he bounced around smiling and laughing the whole time she was here, in the morning he would say Heder, Heder and go jump on the bed she was sleeping in. we got to go to go to the Splash pad and the Youth Museum and Swimming. The Favorite event was going to eat at Cafe Rio, the only one in Arizona. For all you Callifornians we heard they are opening 20 down there including San Diego. Get excited Baby!! I still haven't figured out the whole picture thing on blogging so you will have to put up with me til I get it!
